Fun facts on your favorite spirit booster, coffee: • Heard of Cowboy coffee?? No? Well, it's the way true-blue Texan ranchers like their brew: cowboy coffee requires you to put ground coffee into a clean sock, immerse the same in cold water and heat it over a campfire. When the mixture is boiling hot, you pour it into tin cups and perhaps with a bit of guitar strumming. After all, what's a cowboy without a guitar and a 'orse, eh? - Anon by santhu6984

Guilermo Vilas was the finest tennis player, during the time when Bjourn Borg and john Mc Enroe dominated the World tennis. Yet, he had his own way of being different from others. He wrote lovely poems. Guilermo met me when he had come to play Master's tennis tourney at CCI , Mumbai. That afternoon, while in a relaxed mood, Guilermo spoke about some of his poems and the reason for writing the same. All that he spoke was something coming out of his heart. He was highly impressed with the reception he received in the city of Mumbai. "people here are loving and their innocence is reflected through their looks.' he seemed to be talking about the racism and discrimination that he had witnessed his own country. And he expressed about it through his poems. Isn't that a finer point about this tennis champ? (1) by Ulhas Shirke - Ulhas Shirke by santhu6984

A model of Global Cooperation. The Montreal Protocol, which was signed20years ago, curbed & eventually reversed the thinning of the ozone layer. The Protocol has been a resounding sucess. Its 191 signatories have together phased out more than 95% of ozone- depleting substances, and we expect the earth's protective ozone layer to return to its pre-1980 levels no later than 2075. When the Montreal Protocol was ratified many people had questions about its chances for sucess. 1.Would it be possible to pursuade people to forsake useful household & personal goods - to change their every day habits in the interest of preserving an invisible chemical layer miles above the highest clouds in the sky? 2.Cud Govt's,Communities,& Industries adapt in the name of the environment? As it turns out, they could, that too very effectively. The MONTREAL PROTOCOL,the first legally binding international environmental agreement, brought about a remarkable transformation.IT CHANGED HUMAN BEHAVIOUR WORLDWIDE,& IN DOING SOCHANGED- INDEED, DRAMATICALLY IMPROVED THE CONDITION OF THE ENVIRONMENT. - Ad Melkert by Egroceryshop
